LG BD360 HD DVD Player is the latest introduction from LG. This product features high definition display of images. The player makes provision for streaming YouTube videos from the net; it plays Blu-ray disks in high definition and also plays other DVDs by upscaling them to 1080p picture quality.
The HD DVD player has dimensions of 54 x 430 x 245mms and weighs about 2.7 kg. This device also features fast loading time of 18 seconds to play disks. Audio and video digital to analog converters are used in this device. It also supports media of PAL band at 50 to 60 Hz and 2ch Down Mix. Dynamic Range Control can be put On or Off in this device. Progressive scanning is possible in this device.
Media types supported by the device include BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD(NTSC), DVD(PAL), DVD-R, DVD-R/-RW(Video/VR Mode), DVD+R / + RW, DVD+R Double Layer, DVD+RW(Video mode), DTS CD, Audio CD and CD-R/CD-RW. The player can also detect scenes and conditions using last scene memory and last condition memory features. Networking is possible in this device with the application BD Live BD Profile 2.0.
