Enclosed in black solid casing, the LG BD-300 HD DVD Player 
comes with dimensions of Width 16.9”, Height 2.3”, Depth 10.9” and a weight of 6.6 lbs. It supports wide range of media types including CD, DVD, BD-R, CD-R, BD-RE, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD-R, BD-ROM, DVD+RW and DVD-RW. The supported media formats are PAL and NTSC. BD Profiles like Profile 2.0 (BD-Live) and Profile 1.1 (Bonus View) are supported as well.
Dolby TruHD is the integrated audio decoder. Media could be loaded easily in the provided disc tray. HDMI Version 1.3a is featured in this unit. Up scaling up to 1080p is possible in this HD-DVD player which further adds to the quality of the images. AVCHD, H.264 and MPEG-2 are the supported digital video standards and MP3, PCM and WMA are the supported digital audio standards.
The unit is included with an Ethernet connection. Netflix, YouTube and CinemaNow are the internet streaming services offered. Apart from the Ethernet connection, the unit also supports 1 x SPDIF output ( TOSLINK ), 1 x SPDIF output ( RCA phono ), 1 x Component video output ( RCA phono x 3 ), 1 x Composite video output ( RCA phono ), 1 x Audio line-out ( RCA phono x 2 ) and 1 x HDMI output ( 19 pin HDMI Type A ).
