Dolby Digital and DTS are the integrated audio decoders which manage 96 KHz/24-bit signals and Downmix stereo from Dolby Digital signals.

Kenwood dvd player supports 1 x HDMI, 1 x component, 1 x composite Video Out and 1 x composite, 1 x digital coaxial and 1 x optical audio out connections. Besides these, the unit is provided with a scart adaptor. The included remote control offers one touch access to all the functions. Random, repeat, programme and bookmark are the provided playback modes.

It supports 14-bit, 108 MHz digital/analogue video converter and comes with a parental lock too. Kenwood DVF-5500B High Definition DVD Player comes with dimensions of 440 x 41 x 204 mm and weighs 1.5 kg.
